Echocardiography and Stress Echocardiography
Adult transthoracic echocardiography
aids in the diagnosis of all adult cardiac conditions including ischemic heart disease, cardiomyopathy, valvular
heart disease, and congenital heart disease.
Stress echocardiography aids in the diagnosis of ischemic heart disease and helps manage various cardiac conditions
where the heart’s response to stress is key to decision making.
Examples of this include management of valvular heart disease and
diagnosis of unexplained dyspnea. These services are available at
a hospital testing facility immediately adjacent to many of our
offices. We have one of the largest
clinical experiences locally in utilizing this important technology.
Lastly, our physicians are highly experienced in all forms of
echocardiography and have maintained both continuing education in
this area as well as have taken and passed tests to define expertise
in cardiac ultrasound.
